Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary School is dedicated to building disciples of Christ, providing an excellent academic program integrated with Catholic teaching, and promoting life long service to church and community.
Midterm reports have been published on SchoolSpeak. Copies of the reports will be sent home with the students on Friday.
There is an early dismissal at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 28 for teacher meetings. SACC will be open through the afternoon and the buses will run at the usual times.
Lent begins Wednesday. Students will attend the Ash Wednesday Mass at 8:15. We will conduct Stations of the Cross Friday at 1:00 pm. Lenten calendars with ideas for daily family activities will be in the family envelope next week.
Friday evening we will have a Fun Night for the students in grades five thru eight at the high school from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. We’ll play dodgeball, basketball, board games and more.

El viernes por la noche tendremos una Noche de Diversión para los estudiantes en los grados cinco a ocho en la escuela secundaria de 7:00 a 9:00 pm. Vamos a jugar dodgeball, baloncesto, juegos de mesa y mucho más.
Registration is now open for all grades from pre-school to grade six for the 2017-18 school year. We will waive the registration fee for current families registering students for grades kindergarten through grade six if you register by February 15. Registration packets are in the family envelope. Forms are also available in the office and on the Admissions page of this website.
A Catholic education is a priceless investment in the future of our children. But, we recognize that the cost of tuition can be a financial burden for some families. There are several ways we can help.
TCCES participates in the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship Program. This is an income-based scholarship that can pay the entire cost of tuition for families with children entering kindergarten through fourth grade in the 2017-18 school year. For example, a family of four with an income of $49,200 could qualify for the scholarship. Please call the school office for more information.
Tuition assistance is also available through the diocese, school and local churches. We only ask that all families seeking assistance apply through the FACTS program. Only one application is needed per family and there is no fee. Please apply by March 15 so that your application will also be considered for assistance by the diocese.
Congratulations to our spelling bee champion, Salvatore Fadorsen. Sal advances to the area spelling bee in Canton next month. The runner-up was Andrea Sica Mejia.
